Panasonic VIERA TX-P50U30 Specs and Critique The Panasonic VIERA TX-P50U30 50 inch Full HD Plasma TV is a superb choice for anyone who wants to get the benefit of HD television as it should be seen. This fantastic television comes with Panasonic’s unique image analysing technology. This technology will allow you to have much better clarity when watching movies because of the fact that frames are displayed for shorter periods of time. The reason for doing this is to reduce any after effects. This television also takes advantage of Real Black Drive system and this means that when watching particularly ‘dark’ movies, you will see them how they were intended to be seen. Took delivery of this the other month and have to say despite being a bit dubious about the size and quality I am more than happy with it. The crisp clear HD screen is absolutely fantastic and now more programs are in HD I am now in HD heaven! There is a fantastic Game Mode, which gives you really feel like you are playing the game and there isn’t as much lag with normal TV’s and the images move so much faster. We have managed to put the TV on the wall and tuck all the wires into the wall making it look like a huge picture frame especially when we put in the SD card to show all our photos. The only disappointing thing is only having 2 HDMI ports, I know it’s the same for most TV’s but once Sky is connected I have to keep switching the HDMI cables between my Apple TV and the PS3 – hopefully one day they will increase the number! Overall I am absolutely delighted with this Panasonic VIERA TX-P50U30B TV and would definitely recommend!! I also found this site very useful!

Hi, just wanted to tell all about an issue I had with my 50″ Panasonic p50u30b. After buying this TV online 9months ago I was berry happy indeed, it was delivered within 2 days of my order and all was well until about a month ago, the TV developed a vertical line on the left hand side of the screen, it was only about 2mm wide and only noticeable when certain colours were displayed (mainly light blue and green) however I contacted John Lewis about this, they told me to reset the tv and do various things to double check it wasn’t a signal problem. After checking all the possible things it could be, they agreed yo send an engineer out the very next day. The engineer arrived the next day as agreed and I was informed the set needed a new screen. Head office called me the next day and a brand new tv was delivered that very day, brilliant service. I’d never consider buying a TV from any other retailer.
